I am asked often about Pattern mixing of prints and textured fabrics and if it can be done? The short answer is YES it can. In my experience, choosing the proper fabric and scale is key to a successful mixture. Go with what feels right! What I mean by that is when you put the fabric selections together and step by and look at them altogether, how does it make you feel? Do they look good together or is it disjointed or revolting to the eye? Colors have psychological effect on people, so choose wisely and the same goes with a printed fabric.
